The codepage 949 table (IBM949) included by default with OS/2 supports only the KSC5601 EUC code set 1 plus IBM DBCS-PC extensions (0x9A** to 0xA0**).

A replacement codepage table is available through http://www.borgendale.com/uls.htm, which updates codepage 949 to support the MS Unified Hangul Code ("Extended Wansung") encoding. This enables full support for the Johab character set.
