This section contains various OS/2-related graphics which I've created.

Note: Due in part to server space constraints, I have removed a number of old boot logos and other graphics. My apologies for any inconvenience.

Boot Logos

These alternate boot logos were designed to look cleaner and more elegant than the default ones included with OS/2.

In the lists below, click on the thumbnail to view a full-size GIF of the image. The actual logo (*.LGO) files are compressed in ZIP format.

Logos for OS/2 Warp 4 and above

The following logos are in Warp 4 logo format. They are compatible with the following versions of OS/2:

Attempting to install any of these logos under OS/2 Warp 3, OS/2 Warp Connect or OS/2 Warp Server 4 will most likely render your system unbootable, so please don't try it.

Logos for OS/2 Warp 3

The following logos are designed for the following versions of OS/2:

They may also be used with later versions of OS/2.

Other Information

In order to replace the OS/2 boot logo, rename the .LGO file to OS2LOGO, and replace the system, hidden, and read-only file OS2LOGO in the root of the boot drive. e.g.:

    [C:\]attrib -s -h -r OS2LOGO
    [C:\]move OS2LOGO \OS2\INSTALL\DEFAULT.LGO
    [C:\]ren TOPLIGHT.LGO OS2LOGO
    [C:\]attrib +s +h +r OS2LOGO

I created all of these using Adobe Photoshop, PMView 2000, and Windows Paint. The OS/2 Warp banner was 'borrowed' from the OS/2 Warp Connect logo, and heavily tampered with.

Given that I've blatantly used IBM's own logos, I don't pretend to have any legal rights over these pictures. Use them as you see fit.
